Using Gmail account to monitor and handle all your separate email accounts
Using Gmail account to monitor and handle all your separate email accounts
I use Gmail account as one of my main accounts to handle most of my important and personal email . I use multiple Gmail accounts as well apart from using domain based accounts. So I use Gmail's feature of handling multiple accounts for "Send As" feature and mail forwarding feature.
So what do we need as solution?
A single mail account where all the mail from multiple email accounts are forwarded, in which mail messages can be filtered in separate labels and mail messages can be replied from the email address it was sent to
Solution:-
1. 1 Gmail account
2. Multiple Gmail or hosted domain accounts which can be forwarded to your mail Gmail account
3. Mail forwarding and "Accounts" feature within Gmail
4. Creating labels in Gmail based on "Email Account" that the message comes from
Using three simple steps you can manage all from email accounts from a single account and use the base account as a email backup account for the respective email addresses.
The exact steps are detailed on Google Tutor Post.
I have to tell that this has been functioning very well for me for quite some time now. I only wish that I can easily forward my Hotmail email messages to Gmail .

Another Google Hacking Post Part I
Another Google Hacking Post Part I
Google is world’s most popular and powerful search engine which has the ability to accept pre-defined commands as inputs and produce unbelievable results. This enables malicious users like hackers, crackers, and script kiddies etc to use Google search engine extensively to gather confidential or sensitive information which are not visible through common searches.
Google’s Advance Search Query Syntaxes
Below discussed are various Google’s special commands and I shall be explaining each command in brief and will show how it can be used for critical information digging.
[ intitle: ]
The “intitle:” syntax helps Google restrict the search results to pages containing that word in the title. For example, “intitle: login password” (without quotes) will return links to those pages that has the word "login" in their title, and the word "password" anywhere in the page.
Similarly, if one has to query for more than one word in the page title then in that case “allintitle:” can be used instead of “intitle” to get the list of pages containing all those words in its title. For example using “intitle: login intitle: password” is same as querying “allintitle: login password”.
[ inurl: ]
The “inurl:” syntax restricts the search results to those URLs containing the search keyword. For example: “inurl: passwd” (without quotes) will return only links to those pages that have "passwd" in the URL.
Similarly, if one has to query for more than one word in an URL then in that case “allinurl:” can be used instead of “inurl” to get the list of URLs containing all those search keywords in it. For example: “allinurl: etc/passwd“ will look for the URLs containing “etc” and “passwd”. The slash (“/”) between the words will be ignored by Google.
[ site: ]
The “site:” syntax restricts Google to query for certain keywords in a particular site or domain. For example: “exploits site:hackingspirits.com” (without quotes) will look for the keyword “exploits” in those pages present in all the links of the domain “hackingspirits.com”. There should not be any space between “site:” and the “domain name”.
[ filetype: ]
This “filetype:” syntax restricts Google search for files on internet with particular extensions (i.e. doc, pdf or ppt etc). For example: “filetype:doc site:gov confidential” (without quotes) will look for files with “.doc” extension in all government domains with “.gov” extension and containing the word “confidential” either in the pages or in the “.doc” file. i.e. the result will contain the links to all confidential word document files on the government sites.
[ link: ]
“link:” syntax will list down webpages that have links to the specified webpage. For Example: “link:www.securityfocus.com” will list webpages that have links pointing to the SecurityFocus homepage. Note there can be no space between the "link:" and the web page url.
[ related: ]
The “related:” will list web pages that are "similar" to a specified web page. For Example: “related:www.securityfocus.com” will list web pages that are similar to the Securityfocus homepage. Note there can be no space between the "related:" and the web page url.
[ cache: ]
The query “cache:” will show the version of the web page that Google has in its cache. For Example: “cache:www.hackingspirits.com” will show Google' s cache of the Google homepage. Note there can be no space between the "cache:" and the web page url.If you include other words in the query, Google will highlight those words within the cached document. For Example: “cache:www.hackingspirits.com guest” will show the cached content with the word "guest" highlighted.
[ intext: ]
The “intext:” syntax searches for words in a particular website. It ignores links or URLs and page titles. For example: “intext:exploits” (without quotes) will return only links to those web pages that has the search keyword "exploits" in its webpage.
[ phonebook: ]
“phonebook” searches for U.S. street address and phone number information. For Example:“phonebook:Lisa+CA” will list down all names of person having “Lisa” in their names and located in “California (CA)”. This can be used as a great tool for hackers incase someone want to do dig personal information for social engineering.
Querying for vulnerable sites or servers using Google’s advance syntaxes
Well, the Google’s query syntaxes discussed above can really help people to precise their search and get what they are exactly looking for.
Now Google being so intelligent search engine, malicious users don’t mind exploiting its ability to dig confidential and secret information from internet which has got restricted access. Now I shall discuss those techniques in details how malicious user dig information from internet using Google as a tool.
Using “Index of ” syntax to find sites enabled with Index browsing
A webserver with Index browsing enabled means anyone can browse the webserver directories like ordinary local directories. Here I shall discuss how one can use “index of” syntax to get a list links to webserver which has got directory browsing enabled. This becomes an easy source for information gathering for a hacker. Imagine if the get hold of password files or others sensitive files which are not normally visible to the internet. Below given are few examples using which one can get access to many sensitive information much easily.
Index of /admin
Index of /passwd
Index of /password
Index of /mail
Index of / +passwd
Index of / +password.txt
Index of / +.htaccess
Index of /secret
Index of /confidential
Index of /root
Index of /cgi-bin
Index of /credit-card
Index of /logs
Index of /config

RCA AirPower Batteries Recharge over WiFi
RCA AirPower Batteries Recharge over WiFi
To serve as backup power source to regular battery charging
RCA makes batteries recharge over WiFi
In this day and age, end-users, if they know where to look, will be able to notice the phenomenon of moving away from cables.
Wireless technology has advanced to the point where it can be implemented in mostly any situation, giving rise to wireless keyboards, mice, handsets, cameras and even more sophisticated products such as media players and hard drives.
Unfortunately, all these products are eventually faced with the very same woe that has plagued cable-less products ever since their inception.
This woe, known as failing battery power, has had, so far, only one solution, namely that which wireless products so desperately tried to let go of: cables.
In trying to remove, once and for all, the need for cables, perhaps even the worldly equivalent of the concept of cables, RCA has reportedly invented a new type of battery that can recharge wirelessly.
As unlikely as it sounds, the AirPower batteries are capable of restoring their full power over time.
Unfortunately, as it is always the case with promising products, there is a catch, specifically the batteries' need for a reasonably strong WiFi signal.
According to RCA, the AirPower batteries can pick up wireless WiFi signals and convert them into a current strong enough to restore their electric charge. This means that, on the bright side, full power could be restored without the need for a recharger or an alternate power source.
On the less bright side, since the energy that can be drawn from WiFi signals is quite low, the rate of recharging will be proportionally slow.
According to the report, RCA claims that, when not in use and in the presence of a strong signal, an AirPower will recharge completely in about six hours.
Obviously, the six-hour duration is significantly longer than it would take to recharge the battery via normal means.
This is probably why RCA means to promote the AirPower as a backup power source to normal charging methods. On the other hand, the existence of the technology actually seems to suggest that wireless devices with seemingly inexhaustible power aren't just a dream anymore.
ASUS Unwraps EeeTop PC ET2010 Slim All-in-One Series
ASUS Unwraps EeeTop PC ET2010 Slim All-in-One Series
Pre-loaded with a suite of interactive software
ASUS releases a new line of AiO PCs
With each new technological advancement, virtually all new devices have the tendency to turn out smaller or slimmer than their predecessors, just as portability, comfort and style are features that consumers are increasingly watchful of when they buy a new electronic. In seeking to meet this need, as well as deliver decent levels of performance, ASUS has created the EeeTop PC ET2010 series of all-in-one desktop PCs, which are less than one inch thick and wall mountable, even while packing advanced features such as multi-touch input.
Some members of the new lineup are based on the AMD Athlon II X2 dual-core CPU and boast a dedicated graphics card with DirectX 11 support. These models are equipped with a 20-inch, high-definition plus display, with a maximum resolution of 1,600 x 900, as well as HDMI compatibility, an accelerated video transcoder and SRS virtual 5.1 channel surround sound. On the other hand, the line also features Intel Atom dual-core-powered models, which use the next-generation NVIDIA ION graphics.
"The ASUS EeeTop ET2010 delivers a rich multimedia and entertainment experience thanks to NVIDIA ION graphics. Whether you're watching HD videos online, tagging and sharing family photos or playing your favorite PC games, this system will do it all in style" David Ragones, director of ION and GeForce Product Marketing at NVIDIA, said.
The ASUS EeeTop PC ET2010 AiO line includes a pair of systems with multi-touch support. This multi-touch capability, however, is superior to other solutions on the market, according to ASUS. The EeeTop PC ET2010PNT and ET2010AGT are designed with the optical 20-inch multi-touch screen, which is more sensitive than other resistive and capacitive solutions, allowing for a more interactive and intuitive input. Finally, all devices in the line come pre-loaded with a set of software tools that grant users access to digital content such as music, videos, magazines and e-books, among other things.
Consumers interested in the specifications of each model might want to read the official press release. Prices, unfortunately, were not mentioned.

Automatically run programs when starting Windows
Automatically run programs when starting Windows
If there are applications or commands that you run every single time you start your
computer (Email comes to mind) you may want to consider setting things up so that
these programs run automatically during the Windows XP startup. This can be done
quite easily in XP by creating shortcuts and shuffling them around.
Here's how: Windows XP has a startup folder located at
'C:\ Documents and Settings\ (your user name)\ Start Menu\ Programs\Startup.'
Shortcuts placed into this folder will be run automatically when Windows XP starts up.
If you already have shortcuts for the programs you desire to use, copy and paste
them into the startup folder. Otherwise, go to 'start\programs,' select the program
you would like to create a shortcut for, right click it and select 'send to' then 'desktop.'
This will create a shortcut on the desktop that you can then use.
Automatically close non-responsive programs:
